Here is an uncomfortable truth about heat pumps: the equipment has gotten so good that the installer is now the biggest variable in whether your system succeeds. The same fluency test applies to ductwork. Reusing ducts is the valley's cost advantage, but only sound ducts. - Refrigerant talk that is behind the times. Current 2026 equipment ships on R-454B; a bidder still pushing stock from earlier refrigerant generations, or unable to say what the unit uses, is not keeping current.

Collect two or three qualifying quotes and compare them on level ground.
